Highstones is the clan term for an abandoned Twoleg mine in the forest, surrounded by hills. They are the tall jagged peaks surrounding Mothermouth,[1] the large cave opening leading to the Moonstone. It is home to the Moonstone, a sacred place to clan cats. The Moonstone is a giant quartz crystal which has never known the warmth of the sun.

Fourtrees is a group of four tall oak trees that the clan cats have held their gatherings at since the early days of the clans. Fourtrees is described as neutral territory, and is often used when cats from different clans want to meet outside a gathering. There is a large rock in the middle of Fourtrees called the Great Rock. The clan leaders use it to look down on the clans and share their news during gatherings. They are also referred to as the Great Oaks.

Some cats do not live by the warrior code, these cats live outside of the clans. Neutral territory also counts as a free-for-all rendezvous place.
